Online directors' meeting
On 18 and 19 May, the EPTA directors will meet for the first time in an online format, under the chairmanship of the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST).
This year's EPTA director's meeting should have taken place under British presidency in Norwich on 18/19 May. The worldwide Covid-19 measures will lead to the first ever cyber directors' meeting. Timing of the meeting alone is delicate with members located in many different timezones, from Japan and South Korea, Europe to the US, Mexico and Chile. So the EPTA president scheduled the meeting for slots around noon in the UK. The agenda will focus on the obvious: the pandemic and the challenges for technology assessment.
