Cellule Scientifique of the Chambre des Députés (Luxembourg)
The scientific research and information department of the Chamber of Deputies, i.e. the « Cellule scientifique », was created in 2021. Its central mission is to provide interdisciplinary, objective and impartial overviews of the scientific state-of-the-art to the parliamentarians. Also, provision of research documents on socio-political themes of interest, legal expertise and information on technological innovation, including TA, are priority aspects. The eight members of the research service operate as knowledge facilitators in juridical, social, natural, environmental, economic and historical science. The Cellule scientifique also organizes international conferences, events and workshops aiming to bond both the scientific and the political worlds.
Luxembourg is a member of EPTA since October 2022.
