Directors' meeting in Austria
From 25-27 April the EPTA directors gather in Austria for their annual meeting.
The directors from all EPTA members will travel together from Vienna to Dürnstein, Melk, Linz, Altmünster, and Hallstatt. They will have several working sessions, interrupted by a few visits (e.g. the Ars Electronica Center in Linz, see picture, VOESTalpine Stahlwelt, etc.). The main topics of the meetings will be the relationship between responsible research and innovation (RRI) and technology assessment (TA), the widening of EPTA with several applications for associate membership pending, and the preparation of this year's annual conference on 20-21 October in the Austrian Parliament in Vienna. The topic of this conference will be "The future of labour in the digital era. Ubiquitous Computing, Virtual Platforms, and Real-time Production". The members have already started to compile a comparative report on this topic for presentation in autumn.
