The Greek EPTA Presidency hands over to the 2027 Presidency Luxembourg, in Athens on 2 November 2026
In the premises of the Greek Parliament, approximately 90 members of parliament from Greece and Europe, mobility experts, and parliamentary technology assessment practitioners gathered on 2 November to discuss the highly salient issue of sustainable urban mobility. Among other things, the EPTA 2026 report on this topic has been presented and is now available to the public here. At the end of the day, in a gathering organized by the Luxembourg embassy in Athens, the Greek delegation handed over the Presidency to Luxembourg (see picture above).
On 3 November, the regular EPTA Council meeting was also held in the Greek Parliament. The meeting was devoted to the usual exchange regarding institutional and thematic developments in all EPTA member organizations. The delegates also discussed membership issues. With deep regret, the Council took note of the Finnish Committee for the Future's request to leave EPTA. The Committee has been a longstanding member of EPTA since 1998.
