The medicine and the modern methods of technology to address health concerns have led to increased life expectancy, creating a 'generation' citizens, who, although they are no longer actively productive members of the society, however, they are a large percentage of the active population. This issue has two priorities to be addressed, one is the demographic problem and the other is the social context into which they belong. The Committee will meet with a number of scientists, both experts in social security and sociologists, together with organizations that can provide solutions, as well as with citizens of this category to better understand their needs.
