The article looks at selected issues related to Internet privacy. In the first section, the author presents laws and regulations concerning privacy, with particular attention given to personal privacy while using the Internet. Next, the legal questions connected to personal data, user´s consent, profiling, the right to be forgotten and Safe Harbour principles are discussed. The last section introduces the problems related to Internet privacy violation.
