In this report, the Rathenau Instituut looks at how Dutch science is doing in relation to the objectives set by the government. These include: a healthy and strong foundation, a greater social impact of higher education and research, and room for diverse talent. Using the available figures, report shows how the science system in the Netherlands has developed since the previous balance sheet from 2020 and how it is performing compared to other countries.
