Policy evaluation of health school promotion in French-speaking Belgium

Print
This research is a policy evaluation of the mission of
setting up health promotion programmes in French-speaking Belgium,
following a participatory approach structured around process-tracing,
bringing together more than health and school practioners. The results
show a great variations in the implementation in terms of funding,
staffing, context, realization, reporting and visions of the content of
the mission. The report notably recommends to review the funding of the
policy, to support paradigmatic change towards health promotion, to help
the health in school sector to gain legitimacy in the school context and
to revise policy managerial and reporting tools.
