In this project, we examined how our intelligence agencies can continue to protect the Netherlands as both technology and society evolve. What if, ten years from now, we communicate exclusively via platforms owned by powerful tech companies? What if citizens’ distrust of one another and of official information grows further? Or what if citizens turn away from new technology altogether?
