The summer of 2023 was devastating for the country's forest capital and led to immediate political decisions including the Update of the National Reforestation Plan for the fire-affected areas. Taking into account this experience, this issue was decided by the parliament to be examined in depth. This program will run in parallel in several parliamentary committees and will include topics related to forest protection, prevention of forest fires, development and restoration of the forest capital, new management technologies, etc.
