Climate policy

This research project will assess recent international developments in climate policy at regional and international levels. Major topics covered: - climate change, its causes and impact (with particular reference to Poland) - international climate policy negotiations and agreements (UNFCCC, Kyoto Protocol, COP15, COP17); - the role of forests in climate change policy; - an analysis of the Polish climate policy - transition to low-emission economy (globally, in Europe and in Poland); - Emission Trading System; - agriculture versus climate change; - wind power as a tool for climate protection.
