A follow-up of the Swedish Police Authority’s and the Swedish Prosecution Authority’s measures against human trafficking

On 10 June 2025, the Committee on Justice decided that the committee’s follow-up group shall conduct a study in the form of a follow-up of the Swedish Police Authority’s and the Swedish Prosecution Authority’s measures against human trafficking.
The study will be based on the following overarching question:
Do the police and prosecutors conduct effective measures to prevent, investigate, and prosecute crimes of human trafficking and human exploitation for different forms of exploitation?
The follow-up will be based on interviews, document studies, and the compilation of statistics.
