With generative artificial intelligence, machine-generated content will soon be able to dominate online. Large amounts of synthetic and fake online content might affect freedom of expression. What should the authorities do? How generative artificial intelligence will affect freedom of expression is a burning question that the Norwegian Board of Technology and the Norwegian National Human Rights Institution wish collaborate to put on the agenda.
