Hydrogen has significant potential as a future energy source both for transport and in other applications. However, hydrogen in its gaseous state has low energy density, and it is difficult and expensive to store. The LESGO project proposes to store hydrogen in the C-H bond of reduced graphene oxide, thereby offering a stable, inexpensive, energy-dense and sustainable form of energy that can be supplied on demand.
