The article looks at rail services in Poland. First section is devoted to the analysis of the most recent statistics illustrating passenger services. Next, the analysis of connections and routes broken down by regions is provided. The author argues that in the recent year the number of routes and connections was decreasing, therefore it is essentail to expand it in order to provide citizens with high-quality public transport.
