This research will provide an analysis of Polish agriculture with a special emphasis on economic and social development of rural areas. The report will look at: - social capital growth in non-urban areas; - non-agricultural activities of farmers; - living conditions in Polish rural areas; - farmers´ participation in the social security system; - environmental protection of rural areas ; - cultural identity and mentality changes of Polish rural population.
