In the Total Investment in Science and Innovation (TWIN) 2022-2028, we describe the development of government spending on R&D and innovation over the years 2022 through 2028, based on the 2024 State Budget. Every year we produce such a TWIN report based on the most recent budget. To do so, the Rathenau Instituut asks ministries to indicate how much is spent on R&D and innovation.
