Towards Improvement of Ruminant Breeding through Genomic and Epigenomic Approaches
The RUMIGEN project is an interdisciplinary research project seeking to develop new and more sustainable breeding approaches for ruminants that are in line with social demands and acceptability. These breeding approaches are aimed at combatting e.g. environmental heat stressors such as heat stress which can be caused by climate change, and will be created in line with a novel “room of acceptance” which is developed as part of the project to understand and support social accept.
