The University of Liege has been acting as a meta-evaluator in a social impact bond project led by Actiris, the Employment agency of the Brussels-Capital Region. This social impact bond project aims at implementing an innovative approach to helping long-term unemployed individuals getting back to work. A social impact bond project is a policy project funded through a public-private partnership in which private investors pre-fund the policy and are paid back based on policy success. Each year, from 2019 to 2023, it proposes a meta-evaluation of the policy evaluation conducted by Actiris in order to measure policy success.
