Moniz, A. B., Candeias, M., & Boavida, N. (2023). Artificial generative intelligence and work: Portugal. In B. Bedsted, N. Bang Bådum, R. Grünwald, S. Albrecht, T. Tennøe, F. Domínguez & C. Marsan (Eds.), Generative artificial intelligence: opportunities, risks and policy challenges - EPTA report 2023 (pp. 70-77). Barcelona, European Parliamentary Technology Assessment (EPTA).
This report underscores the significance of collaboration in tackling complex global issues and, at thesame time, serves as a roadmap for policymakers and the public in general to navigate the AI frontier responsibly. Together, we are shaping the future of AI by championing ethical AI principles, promoting transparency, and guiding the development of AI technologies that benefit society as a whole. The Portuguese report includes a set of questions for TA, such as, “Should AI developers release or re-strict their models?” or “To what extent can platforms and AI developers form meaningful partnerships that can aid in the detection and removal of inauthentic content?”.
