In Total Investments in Science and Innovation (TWIN) 2022–2028, we outline the development of public spending on R&D and innovation from 2022 through 2028, based on the 2024 National Budget. Each year, the Rathenau Instituut publishes a TWIN report based on the most recent budget. To do this, we ask ministries to indicate how much they are spending on R&D and innovation.
