Excessive alcohol consumption in Poland generates adverse consequences across health, social, and economic dimensions. The complexity of this issue necessitates a comprehensive set of complementary actions by public authorities aimed at creating an environment conducive to reducing alcohol-related harms. In line with approaches developed by international institutions, such actions should address areas including the affordability and physical availability of alcohol, alcohol advertising, transport safety, healthcare services, and education.
