The digitalisation and integration of technical systems increases the vulnerability of companies in the food chain to threats from cyberspace. The policy brief TAB-Fokus no. 47 on cybersecurity in the food sector summarises the most important results of the TA project, which examined the IT risk situation in the food sector, and outlines options for cybersecurity policy for the German Bundestag.
