The report presents the expert statements that the Committee for the Future has received regarding the covid-19 pandemic during spring 2020. Its preface also briefly describes how the Committee for the Future gathered understanding of the pandemic and its potential consequences. The report includes 23 short (10-pages) insights from experts of various fields regarding the positive and negative developments induced by the pandemic on short and long term and related policy recommendations. The attachment of the report summarizes the content of 62 other expert statements that the Committee received as direct answers to Committee members’ specific pandemic-related questions. Currently, the Preface by the Committee for the Future is available in unpublished form in English and in Swedish.
