Rojas Dónjuan, C. A. & Estrada Galindo, L. (2018). INCyTU Note 18 Financial Education in Mexico
Financial education is the understanding and acquisition of skills on the use of financial products in order to make informed decisions, understanding the consequences and risks involved. Only 33% of adults around the world have adequate knowledge in the field. This knowledge promotes financial inclusion and makes people more prepared not to fall into fraud and make use of financial services such as savings systems for retirement.
